Duane F. Christopher, PLA ASLA 

I grew up in the Finger Lakes area of New York. Graduated from Lansing High and Cornell University and moved to Venice Florida. After working for two years in Florida for the oldest family firm Reasoner’s, I moved to Rock Hill, March of 1979.
I am a licensed registered Landscape Architect and a Residential Building Designer and have been in private practice since 1981.  The great percentage of my professional time is devoted to the fields of residential architecture, commercial planning, landscape architecture with all the other environmental affiliations that go with designing on the land.  I have served in many different commissions locally and have served the York Soil & Water District from 1982 and a full commissioner since 1992 to 2012.
On a personal side not related to design, I was an extra in the locally shot movie the “Patriot” in 1999.  I participate in the Nutcracker Ballet with York County Ballet and have been involved with other productions with our church at St. John’s.  I am a Member of St. John’s Methodist Church in Rock Hill and married to my wife Karen and we have a daughter Michelle and son-in-law John Taylor.

In 2017 I was in the political arena and ran for Mayor of the City of Rock Hill.

Christopher spent time and resources on behalf the City of Rock Hill to promote ideas for revitalization of the downtown main street area, including public presentations. The Empowering the Vision city planning process, which was a two-year long-range process to develop strategic incentives for the City, Christopher spent time and resources to promote a greenway master plan and make major changes in the physical structure of the old downtown main street development.

As a futures development committee member, Christopher has been involved with promoting River Park on the Catawba River and other recreational and pedestrian oriented development activities to improve the quality of life in the City of Rock Hill.

As a member of the Regional Waste Water environmental sub-committee, Christopher was a steering force in looking at alternative methods to a regional approach to wastewater treatment, instead of one large regional plant that would be an insensitive engineering approach to the regions wastewater treatment needs.  He brought in experts in decentralization and constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment.

Water Quality Forum panelist on wastewater treatment comprehensive planning for the Catawba Wateree watershed, promoting Conservation Districts in a planning leadership role.

As a member of the newly formed York County Forever Commission, Christopher has spent much time and resources to help promote and advocate open land preservation.

Christopher has helped county and city planners in many instances to review new ordinances for Tree Preservation, Sub-division design, and Development Standards.

Christopher is involved in the rewriting of the Lake Wylie Buffer-yard ordinance for County Council. 2007-2008

Assisted the York County Zoning administrator in the revised Street Tree List for the Zoning Code, August 2011





Chief Financial Officer

Current Place of Work:  North Carolina A&T State University (NCAT)

Title at North Carolina A&T:  Ronald is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and teaches in the Department of Accounting and Finance at NCAT.   Ronald serves on committees, is the academic advisor for Freshman accounting students, and serves as faculty advisor for one of the Department’s student organizations.   As advisor, he is actively involved with business and accounting professionals.   Ronald is a CPA in the State of North Carolina

Previous:  Ronald Campbell has 25 years of teaching experience at NCAT.  While at NCAT, Ronald has interned at Cargill, Inc., Union Pacific Railroad, and Illinova University (Fellow).   These internships required that he present resolutions and/or recommendations to address issues that were currently on the companies’ agenda.     Prior to NCAT, Ronald was on faculty at the University of Georgia and Oakwood College.   While at Oakwood College, he interned with the Army Corp of Engineers as a Procurement Specialist where he conducted preliminary investigation to determine feasibility of additional computerization for the Procurement Division.  

Education:  Ronald earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.     Prior to Texas A&M, Ronald earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.   Ronald’s Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Oakwood University (then College) in Huntsville, Alabama. 


Commercial Acquisitions

Oscar Williamson is the President/Owner of Gallery Commercial Properties, Inc. and holds real estate license in North and South Carolina.  Prior to starting his own real company, he was Vice-President of Site Selection and Acquisitions at Coldwell Banker Commercial-Sun Coast Properties for 11 years in Wilmington, North Carolina.  He also holds the certification as an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) through the National Association of Realtors.

His other experiences include over 37 years in the technology and communication industries managing National and Regional Accounts for BellSouth, AT&T, US Robotics, Bay Networks and 3Com.  Also, during this time, he was Director of Operations for a medical startup company, Director/ Vice-president of Sales and Engineering for two Internet companies.  He is also a veteran having served 4 years in the US Army and US Army Reserve attending the rank of Specialist 5.

He has been married to his wife Sandra for 47 years and currently resides in Elon, NC.



​Construction Management

Name: Roger A. James

Current Employment: Con-Mech Contractors, Inc.

Title at Con-Mech Contractors, Inc.: Roger is President and CEO.  Roger oversees day to day corporate operations, as well as, construction management. 

Previous: Roger has over 42 years of construction, mechanical, and industrial maintenance experience.  He has been in construction management for 27 years.   Roger started his career working with his father as a brick layer and the father and son worked in their business for 15 years.   He has worked for Carolina Power and Light, Triangle Grading and Paving, and Burlington Mechanical Contractors.   Roger’s experience includes working on: power plants, construction and maintenance, road construction, commercial institutional and educational construction. Current clients include: University of NC system, Chapel Hill/Carrboro School System, Alamance/Burlington School System and various county systems.  

Education: Roger’s education includes studying Psychology and Business at the University of NC at Chapel Hill, as well as, extensive on the job training.  He completed the Defense Contractor Academy in 2014 and regularly participates in continuing education and specialized services training and accreditation.  Roger maintains professional certifications in: MSHA, CMAA, and unlimited general contractor’s license. 



Corporate Vice President

Current Place of Work: United States Department of State.

Title at Department of State: Foreign Service Officer 

What do you do at State Department: Erika currently works for the U.S. Department of State in Bogota, Colombia, serving as a program manager for regional security and development efforts.  During this time, Erika has managed annual operating budgets in excess of USD 250 million and has been recognized for her ability to minimize costs while not sacrificing work value. 

Previous Employment: Erika brings over fifteen years of management experience, including five years in the hospitality industry and over ten years for the U.S. government. Her first experience with hotel operations was in the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City, where she learned the ins and outs of hotel operations and conducting regular financial audits.  She was later recruited by Doubletree Hotel Universal in Orlando, FL, where she served as Guest Services Manager for the 742room hotel.  In addition to working in the hospitality industry, Erika completed four years of military service as an Operations Officer with the U.S. Air Force, and six years serving the U.S. government as a management consultant. 

Education: Erika has a Master of Science (MS) Degree in Finance from University of Maryland, University College.   Erika also has a Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) Degree in International Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Title: Ruwack Irrevocable Trust: Trustee and Secretary

What do you do at Ruwack Irrevocable Trust:

At Ruwack Irrevocable Trust Tracey as trust manager is responsible for the compliance of trust management, assets protection and strategic planning for the board. She also assists in recommending and approving processes and policies and selecting board members. In addition to, researching and developing philanthropic programs. 

Previous: Tracey was an awarded educator for over 20 years instructing at public and private schools and colleges in Brooklyn, New York, Newark, New Jersey, Ashburnham, Massachusetts, Charlotte, Durham and Greensboro, North Carolina. Tracey’s leadership ability includes the pioneering and the development of instruction in streaming online classes at an academy for international recipients. Tracey’s organizational abilities has included leading school events and meetings for staff and parents with organizations and companies. 

Education: Tracey has a Masters of TESOL and Bachelor of Arts in English from State University of New York at Albany.
